A Touchdown for Sound at Doyle Field
Doyle Field, home of the Leominster High School Blue Devils has just undergone a complete makeover. New bleachers, press box's, concession stands, score board and a new sound system have been completed. The sound system, installed by Wavelengths Pro Audio, achieved the requirements of the Doyle Field Foundation for focused sound on the bleachers while minimizing distracting noise into the surrounding neighborhoods. The speaker system chosen for this was the Community R1 Series. The eight R1's, mounted 2 per light pole at 46 feet, are an all weather 2-way speaker utilizing a high frequency horn and a 12 inch woofer. Mounting hardware was provided by Allen Products, their all stainless steel pole system.
